Reason & Respect: Women and Labor

Reason & Respect: Women and Labor Online discussion and presentation. The panelists will discuss the challenges of being a woman working in labor industries and unions. 

The speakers are: 

• Maria Figueroa, Ph.D., dean of the Harry Van Arsdale Jr. School of Labor Studies
• Pamela Malone, president of the United University Professionals chapter at Empire State University
• Debbi Staulters, president of the Civil Service Employees Association chapter at Empire State University

 The panel discussion is moderated by Quran Bell. She is the co-chair of the DEI Working Group for Communications and Events, which hosts Reason & Respect.

 This event is in recognition of Women’s History Month.
