Why waste your time: Are Open Education Resources Worth it? - Episode 1

In today’s world, Open Education Resources (OER) are one of the most powerful tools for academic success, but only if you know how to find and use them correctly. Some of the OER’s created by the college are used worldwide; for example, more than 40,000 people are now enrolled in the college’s Career Brand Management MOOC on Coursera. In this presentation two members of the college’s Coursera team, Associate Professor Val Chukhlomin and Retention Specialist Amy Giaculli, will reveal some OER secrets and provide hands-on advice on how to benefit from using them.
