September 11th is a powerful and significant day for this country, and particularly difficult for those who were directly impacted by the terror attacks and the destruction of the Twin Towers. Please join us tomorrow night for a session reflecting on 9/11. Please share with anyone you think would be interested in attending.

Thursday, September 10th at 6pm will be a presentation by Aaron Noble, the
curator of the virtual 9/11 exhibit at the New York State Museum; a
presentation by alumna, Suzanne Pinnix, Class of 2018, on the work she did
supporting the healing and wellness of 1st responders in the days and weeks
after the terror attacks; and an opportunity for participants to share their
reflections on the day and aftermath on the 19th anniversary of the terrorist
attacks. Our presenters hold a Q&A session following their
presentations/performances.
Presenter Bios
Aaron Noble is senior historian for political, governmental, and military history at the New York State Museum and curator of the World Trade Center Collections and Exhibition. Noble holds a Masters degree in Public History from the University at Albany. His area of study focuses on the role that objects play in making and perpetuating historical memory.
Suzanne Pinnix is a graduate of SUNY Empire State College’s Class of 2018 with a BS in Community and Human Services.
She is a licensed acupuncturist in both New York and Hawaii and a member of the National Certified Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. In addition, Suzanne is a certified aromatherapist.
She has served as a volunteer acupuncturist after 9/11 at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC treating first responders. She lives, works and plays in NYC and spends time on the NJ shore enjoying the beach and being in nature.
