Accounting educators see great potential in AI, yet worry about its impact on student learning quality​. An open-minded approach views AI as an aid in teaching and learning - a means to enhance analysis, provide instant feedback, and personalize learning experiences - rather than a threat. This presentation explores the rationale, current research, and best practices for integrating AI tools into accounting education, balancing opportunities with ethical considerations.
