This presentation will cover the best practices for the creation and manipulation of accessible Word, PDF, and PowerPoint files. After defining accessibility and presenting the legal foundations for the accommodation of disability in education, we will explore easy ways to create or edit your course materials to bring them in line not only with the ADA and Section 508 standards, but to the ideals of Universal Design.
