"Supporting Students with Visible and Invisible Disabilities"
The SUNY Empire State College Office of Accessibility Resources and Services will present a workshop on supporting college students with both visible and invisible disabilities. This workshop will provide an overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act, along with the office’s mission. Data related to both visible and invisible disabilities will be shared. The concept of universal design will be introduced, along with best practices in higher education. There will be time for attendees to participate in case studies and a question and answer period.
