Imagery in a Political Campaign
Tuesday, November 1, 6 – 7 p.m.
There is a long tradition of the use of imagery in political campaigns to influence voters. All political parties have deployed and/or manipulated the use of cartoons, photographs and video to self-promote, build a reliable coalition or to diminish the opposition, to varying degrees of success. SUNY Empire faculty member, Dr. Paul Miller will give a short presentation and open up the conversation on how has imagery in politics changed over time and how do candidates come across.
