Focus2 Taking the Assessments

In this module, you’ll take a deeper look at what happens after you complete your Focus2 assessments. You’ll learn how to read and understand your results—and, more importantly, how to use them to explore majors, careers, and possibilities that align with who you are.

This video walks you through how Focus2 connects your interests, values, personality, and skills to potential occupations and academic pathways. You’ll see how to explore career options in detail, compare roles, review salary and education requirements, and identify growing fields. You’ll also learn how Focus2 links majors to careers, helping you understand what you can do with different areas of study.

You’ll discover tools for saving and organizing careers and majors you’re interested in, exploring job families, and finding professional organizations and resources that can help you learn more and start building connections. The module also emphasizes that results are flexible—there’s no single “right” answer—and that career exploration is a process that can evolve over time.

By the end of this module, you’ll feel more confident using Focus2 to explore options, make sense of your results, and take thoughtful steps toward planning your academic and career path—with support from the Career Team whenever you need it.
