Bio: Lexie Riley Bonitatibus is the Assistant Vice President for Administration and Finance at Empire State University, a State University of New York (SUNY). For almost 30 years, she has partnered with colleges and universities, startups, small businesses, global organizations, and large enterprises to face challenges in an everchanging market landscape, and to turn around financials, launch data analytics, and lead operational change.
She holds a B.A. in government and human geography from Dartmouth College and an M.A. in international economics and finance from the Brandeis International Business School. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in SUNY Empire’s inaugural cohort – an Ed.D. in educational leadership and change. Her expertise is in data analytics and data informed decisions. She is currently building a financial tool that helps universities invest in resources for underserved populations, with the goal that students achieve better outcomes (term completion, degree completion, graduation). Her doctoral research is in innovative organizational structure models for data analytics experts on campus. She lives in Saratoga Springs, NY with her husband and four children.
