Bio: Lisa is an Instructional Designer at Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield. She is passionate about
developing dynamic asynchronous experiences for her learners while collaborating with subject
matter experts. She enjoys learning how to incorporate new virtual learning environments and
emerging technologies.
Lisa has over 20 years of experience in business and education. She has an undergraduate
degree from SUNY Oswego in English Literature (2006), and a Master of Arts in Learning and
Emerging Technologies with an Advanced Degree in STEM Education, from SUNY Empire (2021).
In addition to her academic achievements, Lisa recently graduated from the Dale Carnegies
Skills for Success course, and she is a member of Toastmasters International. In her spare time,
she enjoys camping, traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family and pets.
