This webinar, led by Educational Technologist Shaun Hoppel, aims to create a culture of best practice at ESC by outlining what the ADA and Section 508 demand versus the ideals of the Universal Design model for teaching and learning.
Shaun has been formally trained in the use of assistive and adaptive technologies at the Center for Assistive Technology located at SUNY Buffalo. He has served as Coordinator of Auxiliary Aids and Services in the Office of Accessibility Resources at SUNY Buffalo, and has years of experience working with faculty, staff, and students on issues related to accessibility, including assessment and training of disabled students, and training for faculty on best practices for creating accessible course materials.
