Community Conversation: Ask the Experts: A Literacy Discussion

Join us for a conversation about literacy, featuring three expert panelists from Empire State University:

• Karis Jones, Ph.D., assistant professor of English Language Arts in the Education Division for the School for Graduate Studies
• Gloria "Joanne" Kramer, Ed.D., TESOL coordinator and assistant professor in the School for Graduate Studies
• Thomas P. Mackey, Ph.D., professor of arts and media in the School of Arts and Humanities at Empire State University

The program will begin with introductions from our expert panel and will be shaped by participant questions around literacy today and in the future. The panel will be moderated by Naomi Lecont-Lucio, an ELA teacher in the Master of Arts in Teaching, English program.
